Los Angeles has reportedly reached an agreement to host the 2028 Summer Olympics!
According to the LA Times, the city has made a deal with the International Olympic Committee, who is expected to make an announcement soon.
Los Angeles was originally being considered to host the 2024 games but it now looks like that slot will go to the other front runner, Paris.
The city is reportedly seeking some concessions for waiting the additional four years, in a move they hope will generate hundreds of millions in savings and additional revenues.
This will be the third time LA has hosted the Olympics, previously serving as the host city in 1984 and 1932.
The United States has not hosted a Summer Olympics since Atlanta in 1996.
Stay tuned for the official announcement!
