JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potterseries, is mourning the death of Robert Hardy, who starred in the films.
The 91-year-old actor played the role of Cornelius Fudge, the minister of magic in the movies. Robert also starred in numerous movies, TV shows, and was a well known stage actor as well.
His family confirmed the news to the BBC saying he had a “tremendous life” and “a giant career in theatre, television and film spanning more than 70 years.
“So very sad to hear about Robert Hardy. He was such a talented actor and everybody who worked with him on Potter loved him.,” she tweeted upon hearing the tragic news.
