Jeanne Moreau, legendary French actress, has passed away at the age of 89.
The star’s death was confirmed by the major of where she lived in Paris, France, according to Variety.
At the time of her death, Jeanne had over 140 acting credits to her name. She was a staple at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as the international film circuit. She won Best Actress at Cannes in the 1960s for her work on Moderato Cantabile. She also picked up an honorary Palme d’Or, Cannes’ highest honor, back in 2003. She was awarded an honorary Cesar award in 2008.
