The 36-year-old Jurassic World actress is set to make her directorial debut on an adaptation of Matthew Quick‘s novel “Sorta Like a Rock Star,” Varietyreports.
The film will mark the first full-length feature that Bryce has directed, though she has already helmed some short films as well as M83‘s “Claudia Lewis” music video starring Lily Collins.
The movie doesn’t have a distributor yet, but Bryce will reportedly direct if things move forward.
According to the outlet, the story follows “an optimistic high school student, Amber Appleton, who secretly lives in her mom’s school bus during her senior year after an altercation at home.”
“Surprise to no one that I can’t keep my hands off of a camera if it’s within a 50 ft radius of me!” Bryce recently shared on Instagram.
