Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters at midnight tonight, and die-hard fans will want to know all the details about the sequel to the first film.
The second movie in Marvel’s Spider-Manseries will debut on July 5, 2019, and Tom Holland, the web-slinging star, has said he will begin work on the movie next year.
“I will be on Spider-Man 2 about mid-July next year. I think the most interesting thing about a young man’s life is his journey from being a boy to a man, and imagine seeing that journey while having superpowers. That’s something I know I’m definitely excited to explore. I know Kevin [Feige] and the rest of the team are very excited to explore,” Tom told Collider about his hopes for the sequel.
