Sutton Foster paid a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (July 26), and took a look back at her early stage roots.
The two-time-Tony winner laughed with host Stephen and joked about getting playful with A Bronx Tale star Richard H. Blake, who beat her on the TV talent show Star Search when they were younger. “Every time I see him, I give him squinty eyes,” Sutton joked.
Sutton also talked about her role in her hit TV Land series Younger, where she plays a 41-year-old who pretends to be a 27-year-old.
As for playing a millennial, Sutton said, “I’m a young 42, I’m naive, I’m still pretty green about many things. I feel like the idea of youth is how you look at the world with hopeful optimism and try new things.”
