Sean Spicer Resigns as Trump's White House Press Secretary
Sean Spicer has resigned from his role as the White House Press Secretary as he reportedly does not agree with President Trump‘s latest move.
Trump appointed Anthony Scaramuccias the new White House communications director on Friday morning (July 21) and Spicer submitted his resignation shortly after.
The president reportedly asked Spicer to stay on, but Spicer told his boss that “he believed the appointment was a major mistake,” according to the New York Times.
Spicer has not been in the spotlight that much lately while Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been conducting many of the White House press briefings.
