Oscar nominated director Barry Jenkinshas a new movie lined up!
The 37-year-old director will make an adaptation of James Baldwin’s book “If Beale Street Could Talk.”
The film will follow “Tish, a newly engaged Harlem woman who races against the clock to prove her lover’s innocence while caring for their first born child,” Varietyreports.
Production will begin in October, and no casting has been set just yet. This will be Barry‘s first film since Moonlight won the Best Picture award at the Oscars.
