Migos member Takeoff was just booted off of a Delta flight while on the way to a concert in Iowa, according to TMZ.
The incident occurred prior to the plane’s departure on Friday afternoon (July 7) in Atlanta, GA.
According to the group’s manager, the group boarded their first class flight and Takeoff fell asleep while the plane was taxing.
Takeoff‘s book bag had been left on the floor and not the overhead compartment and did not comply to move the bag, as he was sleeping.
By the time the plane taxied to the runway, his book bag was still on the floor and the pilot decided to abort takeoff and boot Takeoff.
Takeoff‘s band mates Quavo and Offset, as well as their manager, also decided to leave the plane.
Delta followed up with a statement saying, “The flight returned to the gate because Migos repeatedly refused to follow crew member instructions to buckle seatbelts and stow carry-on in overhead bins.”
The group was rebooked on an alternate flight, which is currently in the air.
