Michael Caine's Voice Can Be Heard in 'Dunkirk'
Here’s something you probably didn’t realize about the movie Dunkirk… Michael Caine‘s voice can be heard in the film!
The 84-year-old Oscar-winning actor has been in every one of Christopher Nolan‘s movies ever since Batman Begins in 2005, and this one is no exception.
Michael‘s voice can be heard giving orders to the pilots played by Tom Hardyand Jack Lowden.
“It’s shocking to me that a lot of people haven’t [spotted the cameo], when he has really one of the most distinctive voices in cinema,” Nolan said in an interview with NJ.com. “I wanted very much to squeeze him in here. It’s a bit of a nod to his character in Battle of Britain. And also, it’s Michael. He has to be in all my films, after all.”
Battle of Britain is a movie from 1969 in which Caine plays a pilot.
