The Los Angeles Philharmonic provided the music while Jesse, Jonathan Groff, Vanessa Williams, and more performers sang some of composer Stephen Sondheim‘s most famous tunes.
The highlights of the night were Jessesinging “Franklin Shepard Inc.” from Merrily We Roll Along, Jonathan belting out “Being Alive” from Company, and Vanessa doing a mash-up of Follies‘ “Losing My Mind” and Merrily‘s “Not a Day Goes By” with Solea Pfeiffer.
The other performers included Sarah Uriarte Berry, Phillip Boynkin, Lewis Cleale, Carmen Cusack, Claybourne Elder, and Ruthie Ann Miles.
