Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park are leaving their longtime roles on Hawaii Five-0 and will not appear on the upcoming eighth season.
The actors were looking to be paid equally with stars Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan, but were not able to reach deals they were satisfied with, according to Variety. It is being reported that they earned 10-15% less than the others.
“We are so appreciative of Daniel and Grace’s enormous talents, professional excellence and the aloha spirit they brought to each and every one of our 168 episodes. They’ve helped us build an exciting new Hawaii Five-0, and we wish them all the best and much success in their next chapters. Mahalo and a hui hou…” a CBS spokesperson said in a statement about the exit.
