Blink-182 will not be heading out on tour this summer following the death of slated tourmate Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
The two bands were supposed to kick off the Welcome to Blinkin Park tour next weekend.
“Blink-182 is wrecked by the loss of our friend and amazing musician Chester Bennington,” the band said in a statement on Twitter. “We could never imagine playing Blinkin Park without his incredible talent and voice. It just would not be possible. We send our deepest sympathies to his family, bandmates, friends, and fans. Refunds will be available at the place of purchase.”
Linkin Park has also canceled the remainder of their current One More Light North American Tour.
