Jimmy Kimmel & Justin Theroux Team Up For Throwback Sitcom Special
Jimmy Kimmel and Justin Theroux are teaming up for a new live sitcom!
The 49-year-old late night talk show host and 45-year-old actor will be working together on the throwback project with the help of some comedy stars.
The untitled show will revive classic sitcom scripts from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s to be acted out live by current comedic actors.
“I spent most of my childhood in front of a TV set, obsessively watching comedies from great producers like Norman LearJim BurrowsJames L. Brooks and Garry Marshall,” Jimmy said in a statement.
He added, “This is a way for a new generation of viewers to discover these classics and a new generation of actors to play characters they love, live in front of a studio audience.”
